How could one sum up an experience like the Records Schmecords Radio Show into a neat little description? Could one simply sum up the whole of human experience into a couple of paragraphs? Could one relate the power of the Mona Lisa in a sketch? It's just this show I do where I play music that I like. I once had a show where I attempted to use dance music as a form of magic to manipulate the perception of time. Results were unclear. I once played two hours of guilty pleasures, and actually got kinda embarrassed. Maybe the most popular show I ever did was two hours of Emo. Go Figure. Tune in if you like to hear Bossanova and J-Pop back to back. Or if you've ever dared to jump from Fela Kuti to Tullycraft to the MASH theme song. If you enjoy some indulgent 90's nostalgia from time to time. If you like videogame soundtracks. If you're the kinda person that orders the sampler platter, and then are disappointed because it doesn't also come with french fries. If you like to step outside the box to take a look around, but not for too long cos it gets cold out. Or hey maybe we should just build a window, or make the box bigger? I wonder if the box next door is into those can-and-string telephones...
