Interview with Ray Williams, member of Swinomish tribe of the Coast Salish

TONIGHT AT 7: Hear an interview with Ray Williams, a member of the Swinomish tribe of the Coast Salish, who lives on the Swinomish Indian Reservation on Fidalgo Island. A recipient of an International Peace Award, he sits on the board of the Seventh Generation Fund, which promotes and maintain cultural heritage of Native people and the sovereignty of tribal Nations.
Ray will be interviewed on Hollow Earth Radio by Rosette Royale, assistant editor of Real Change, a weekly paper sold in Seattle by homeless or low-income vendors.
Ray will be the featured speaker Sun., June 24 for a talk entitled "One with Creation: An Evening with Ray Williams," a fundraiser for the Sacred Fire Foundation. The talk will take place at Chief Seattle Club, 410 Second Ave. Extension, in Seattle at 7 p.m. Tickets are $65 a person or $100 a pair. They're available sacredfire.org/creation
