NOW BROADCASTING!!!!!!
Rendered Speechless
Tuesday Nights 11pm - 1am
DJ Kimmy G
Program Description: Rendered Speechless strictly follows one rule: to play music that is entirely instrumental. No form of the human voice will be heard on any of the recordings featured on this show, besides that of your host Kimmy G.
The show aims to exhibit the profound storytelling abilities that instrumental music can possess. It will be proven that music made solely with instruments and electronics can paint an aural image that is just as colorful and detailed as any emotionally explicit song or lyric.
This late night show tends to remain quiet and hushed, featuring ambient, drone and minimal experimental music, but can also be heard venturing into wordless worlds of beat-oriented electronic music, abstract acoustic improvisations, and other fields of speechless sounds.

Friday Night Fun Times! Three Seattle giants play Hollow Earth Radio
Posted By DJ Garrett on 05/17/2012 at 09:00PM
Heatwarmer is an innovative Seattle-based pop band, comprising some of the city’s weirdest and most spirited performers. Hailing from the rugged Northwest — an area often associated with grungy ennui and tuneful mountain-men — these five synth-junkies taken together are somewhat of an anomaly in the region. Cherry-picking bits and pieces of stuff from certifiably “lame” genres like Latin Jazz, worship music, 80s VHS soundtrack schlock and whatever else happens to tickle his fancy, songwriter and bassist Luke Bergman casts his inspirations into the furnace of imagination, creating a sound that is unexpected and unique.
NighTraiN All female funk-punk band. One of our personal favs!
Prawnyxx Jazz/drums playing old-school hip-hop / sax punk Out with a new 10 inch!

Posted By DJ Josh on 05/03/2012 at 07:43PM
Audio: Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3, Pt. 4, Pt. 5
Michael and Isis dropped by to talk about their collaboration on Counter-Couture, a new class at UW taught by Michael and Isis' work on a documentary chronicling the Source Family. We talked all about fashion and its role in culture/counter culture and moved on into a myriad of realms. These are two fascinating characters with a vision. Keep up to date on their current projects!
